Two things came together.
The first is my project safemap.ai, which I’ve written about before: an interactive map where different AIs analyze lots of news in real time and color countries from green to red based on their safety level.
The second is my love of rocket launches, SpaceX, and space in general. After discovering KYKYPY3A_B on X, along with Surdin and Zelyony Kot on YouTube, I started watching launch broadcasts regularly.
Looking at our planet on safemap.ai, I had an idea: why not add another mode — Launch? It doesn’t quite fit the project’s theme, but first, who’s going to stop me? And second, I’d rather watch rockets people launch in the name of science than rockets they fire at each other.
Check out Launch mode. If I’ve set everything up correctly, we’ll lift off at the same time as the real rocket.
